Job Summary

Make a meaningful impact by helping individuals and families thrive in stable housing. As a Resident Services Coordinator, you will provide compassionate, person-centered support to residents in PPL’s affordable and scattered-site housing programs.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with participants to assess their strengths/barriers and create customized participant-driven housing stability plans
  • Support participant health and wellness through connections to physical, mental health, and recovery resources
  • Aid in the housing recertification process
  • Collaborate with Housing Coordinator in transferring tenancy sustaining services both in home and in the community
  • Utilize skills and community resources to provide crisis prevention and intervention
  • Support strategies to promote neighborhood, apartment building, and personal safety
  • Provide and/or facilitate translation and interpreting services

Qualifications

  • Minimum Technology Qualifications: Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, and Word; Electronic timecard system; SharePoint file system; Database systems, particularly Apricot
  • Experience with case management or developing supportive housing service plans
  • Ability to provide crisis intervention and support
  • Ability to recognize and address mental health challenges, chemical dependency and other problematic behaviors
  • Valid drivers' license and insurance, successfully complete a motor vehicle records screen, reliable vehicle, and ability to transport participants
  • Experience with Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered, or DBT skills a bonus
  • Education and/or Experience: 1-3 years of experience with the target population served preferred; A course of study in a health or human services-related field leading to a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or Associate degree

Pay

Full Time/ Non-Exempt/ Monday-Friday 8:30AM-4:30PM: $22-$24/hour
