Resident Project Representative - Water - Kansas City

Responsibilities

• Participate in Pre-Construction Conference
• Prepare project communications plan
• Plan for various approvals and documentation
• Organize and conduct regular job progress status meetings
• Prepare and distribute agendas and conference notes
• Participate with GC personnel in QA/QC activities
• Review, certify and file the field testing reports
• Monitor job construction progress
• Maintain safety conditions and report issues to the GC
• Appraise Owner(s) if unsafe working conditions exist and persist
• Monitor and participate in the construction QA/QC program
• Promote communications between construction and design teams
• Manage Request for Information (RFIs)
• Coordinate with GC, Owner(s) and EOR on solutions

Requirements

• BS in Civil Engineering with 10 years of experience
• At least 3 years of field experience related to construction
• OSHA 30-hour Training — Construction Safety and Health
• Experience working for a GC in a project engineer/CM role
• 5+ years of Construction Management experience with degree, or 8+ years without

Qualifications

• Preferred Qualifications: BS in Civil Engineering with 10 years of experience
• Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of Construction Management experience with degree, or 8+ years without

Skills

• Expertise in engineering, procurement, consulting and construction
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
