Roles and Responsibilities

• Affords patient health through interviews and physical examinations
• Documents patient care in medical records
• Schedules and provides outpatient services
• Maintains ongoing health maintenance and educates patients on disease prevention
• Completes continuing medical education and maintains necessary licenses
• Manages patient health by assessing and treating chronic pain
• Collaborates with mid-level providers and clinical pharmacists

Qualifications

• Current DEA license
• MD or DO degree
• No outstanding actions from the medical board
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and clinic team members
