Roles and Responsibilities

• Affords patient health through interviews and physical examinations
• Updates and studies medical histories
• Documents patient care in records
• Schedules and provides outpatient services
• Conducts health maintenance and educates patients on disease prevention
• Completes continuing medical education and maintains necessary licenses
• Maintains current DEA and OBNDD numbers
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and clinic team members

Qualifications

• Current DEA license
• MD or DO degree
• No outstanding actions from the medical board
• Proven ability to work effectively with staff and the public
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong critical thinking abilities
