Resident Care Manager - RN
About the role
Responsible for conducting and coordinating the development and completion of resident assessments (MDS) in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines, including the implementation of CAAs. Coordinates with physicians, healthcare providers, facility inter-disciplinary teams, families, and manages care through the Charge Nurse, Certified Nursing Assistant, and Medication Nurse to best meet the quality of life and care of residents.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and coordinate MDS assessments
- Implement CAAs as per guidelines
- Coordinate with physicians, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary teams
- Manage care through Charge Nurse, CNA, and Medication Nurse
- Ensure quality of life and care for residents
- Utilize electronic medical records and charting system
Requirements
- Licensed RN for the appropriate State
- 2 - 3 years experience working as an RN
- Strong assessment and care planning skills
- Experience in Nurse Supervisor roles preferred
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed RN for the appropriate State
- Experience in long-term care is encouraged
- Strong passion for working with the senior population

- Knowledge of electronic medical records and charting systems
