Resident Care Manager

About the role

We are Regency Harmony House Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, conveniently located in Brewster, WA. We specialize in skilled nursing and long-term care services. We treat each of our residents with individualized compassionate care in a nurturing environment. We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Aid the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the nursing department operations.
• Develop and implement care plans for each resident, ensuring medical and nursing treatments align with the care plan and resident’s wishes.
• Plan, schedule, and revise MDS (Medicare Assessment System), implementing RAPs and Triggers.
• Evaluate and support nursing staff, ensuring they perform their work assignments correctly.
• Confirm that nurse notes are informative and descriptive of care, including resident responses and wishes.
• Coordinate with facility surveys by authorized government agencies.
• Train in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• Maintain knowledge of nursing and medical practices, the MDS process, CMS directives, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertinent to nursing care facilities.
• Attend continuing education programs and provide leadership for in-service training.
• Report to the Director of Nursing and fill in as needed.

Requirements

• Nursing license in good standing.
• One year of supervisor experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems.
