Resident Care Coordinator (Full-Time) - Carolina Reserve of Durham

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and assist in resident care staffing and service needs.
  • Schedule resident care staff.
  • Collaborate with Director of Clinical Services to orient, monitor, and train resident care staff.
  • Complete necessary documentation in a timely manner.
  • Implement state regulations as required by the Director of Clinical Services.
  • Assist with Manager on Duty coverage, including presenting the community, planning, and participating in staff meetings.
  • Plan and implement marketing and community events.
  • Audit Medication Administration Reports (MAR) and notify the pharmacy of any changes.
  • Conduct regular inspections of resident records and maintain them according to state regulations.
  • Complete resident assessments as outlined by Navion Senior Solutions and licensure guidelines in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years as a Medication Technician.
  • Memory Care experience is required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Experience or training in an equivalent setting preferred.
  • Medication Technician certification required.
  • General understanding of and concern for the needs of seniors.
  • Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for residents without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others.
  • Ability to manage team processes and promote a team environment.
