Resident Care Coordinator
About the role
The Resident Care Coordinator assists the Director of Resident Care in promoting optimal care for residents and managing the efficiency of the Assisted Living Department and/or Generations/Memory Care unit. This role involves overseeing staff, coordinating schedules, conducting assessments, and supporting the overall care of residents.
Responsibilities
- Ensures adherence to federal and state policies regarding resident care.
- Hires, evaluates, motivates, and supervises department staff, focusing on qualified candidates with interest in care and management of individuals with dementia.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Required certifications as per state regulations.
- One (1) year experience providing residential care to the elderly or similar experience with specialized dementia care programs preferred.
- Six (6) months supervisory experience in a health-related field preferred.
