About the role

The Resident Care Coordinator supports the Director of Wellness in maintaining high standards of resident care, staffing coordination, and team development. This role plays a key part in ensuring care teams are supported, schedules are maintained, and residents receive safe, quality services in a compassionate and compliant environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate schedules for CNA, CMA, and PSA team members to maintain appropriate staffing levels
  • Support onboarding, training, competency checks, and ongoing development of care staff
  • Aid in monitoring resident care services and ensuring compliance with company standards
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings and collaborate with leadership on staffing and resident needs
  • Ensure timely completion of resident weights, vitals, and required documentation
  • Maintain care team adherence to safety procedures, policies, and administrative expectations
  • Provide coaching and support to care staff to promote a positive and service-focused environment
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all resident, family, and team member interactions

Requirements

  • Current Medication Aide certification required
  • Experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare environments preferred
  • Previous experience supporting or leading care teams preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage staffing coordination and multiple priorities effectively
  • Professional, team-oriented mindset with strong customer service skills
  • Commitment to resident safety, quality care, and accountability
