Resident Care Aides (RCAs) or Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care including daily bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, incontinence/peri-care, and redirection to promote independence.
• Obtain and report accurate vital signs and changes in resident health status.
• Document observations and changes as required.
• Assist/accompany residents for medical appointments, if assigned.
• Report concerns regarding residents to the Director of Nursing, Administrator, or Charge Nurse on shift.

Requirements

• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Caring and responsible personality.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, overnight, and weekends.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency procedures.

Pay

• $17.50 per hour.

Schedule

• Full Time - Evening Shift (2pm-10pm), Overnight Shift (10pm-6am)
• Part Time - Day Shift (6am-2pm), Evening Shift (2pm-10pm)
• Casual Hire - Overnight Shift (10pm-6am)
