Resident Care Assistant - RCA or CNA ( High Acuity Assisted Living )
About the role
Eagle Crest Communities is seeking a Resident Care Assistant for its High Acuity Assisted Living apartments in La Crosse, WI. These apartments are designed for residents with needs greater than those typically found in a traditional assisted living setting but less than those requiring skilled nursing care. The position involves supporting residents in maintaining independence and dignity while performing various tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal cares, daily activities
- Provide dressing, bathing, and bathroom assistance
- Transport residents to meals and activities
- Document daily care
- Communicate and interact with residents, their families, and other departments
- Create an environment focused on resident safety and well-being
Requirements
- Previous direct care experience, preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant training and/or experience (any State), preferred
- CBRF Certification, preferred
Qualifications for Higher Starting Pay
- Certified Nursing Assistant training (in any state)
- CNA, Resident Care, or Home Health Experience
- CBRF Certification(s)

Pay
The starting wage is between $19.75 - $24.15 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Certifications are not required - we will train the right fit for our team!
Schedule
Available Shifts: AM (6:00am-10:00am, 7:00am-2:00pm, 6:45am-3:15pm), PM (5:00pm-10:00pm, 6:00pm-10:00pm, 3:00pm-11:15pm), NOC (11:00pm-7:00am). Casual Call: Build your own schedule - 3 shifts a month; 2 on the weekend, plus on-call rotation. Part-Time: 16+ hours per 2 week pay period. Full-Time: 68+ hours per 2 week pay period, Monday-Friday with on-call weekend every 7th weekend.
