Resident Assistant Lead - Part Time Evenings - Walker Place

Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care – assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, mobility, meals, and restorative care while maintaining dignity and respect.
- Mentor and support team members – train, guide, and coach new and existing staff, promoting a positive and engaged work environment.
- Act as a shift lead – serve as the primary point of contact during shifts, triaging staff and resident needs, ensuring communication flow, and collaborating with clinical teams.
- Ensure quality and compliance – maintain documentation, follow established best practices, and ensure care protocols align with resident preferences and regulatory standards.
- Promote a positive culture – lead by example, foster teamwork, and create an environment where both residents and team members feel supported and valued.

Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state of Minnesota preferred (may be required for some levels of assisted living).
- Experience in resident care, mentoring, or leadership roles preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with a diverse team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to pass state mandated background check.
- Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with residents, families, and staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a certified nursing assistant program.
- Current CPR certification.

Pay Range: $20 - $23.65/hour (non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.
Schedule
Schedule: Part Time |56 hours/pay period| 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.| Includes every other weekend and holiday.
