Job Summary

Morning Pointe Assisted Living Communities seeks a RESIDENT ASSISTANT/CNA to provide services that enhance the wellness, lifestyle, and enjoyment of senior living. Responsibilities include personal care, Alzheimer’s services, and assisting residents with daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Treat co-workers and residents with a genuine sense of kindness and care
• Approach challenging situations with patience, pleasantness, and grace
• Understand that honesty and ethics are an essential part of your success
• Enjoy your work and understand its true purpose
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
• Absorb and assist with meals and snacks
• Assist with housekeeping duties as necessary

Requirements

• Can lift 50 lbs
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• At least 18 years of age
• Reliable transportation and dependable work ethic

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills
