Resident Aide/CNA
About the role
Garden Terrace provides assisted living services to people needing personalized support and those who want to age with dignity and a full life. Located near Duluth in Wrenshall, MN, Garden Terrace offers a cozy home environment. We serve aging adults, adults with mental health disabilities, and adults with physical disabilities. We are seeking individuals who are genuinely devoted to caring for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine individualized care to the residents
- Monitor and report changes in resident health status
- Provide personal care, such as bathing
- Assist with room cleans and serving meals
- Administer medications, check vitals, and monitor blood sugars
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Pass a MN DHS background check
- Every other weekend availability required
- Previous PCA or CNA experience preferred but not required

Pay
- $19.00 for Resident Aides
- $21.50 for Certified Nursing Assistants
Schedule
Part-time, 3:00 pm-9pm/11am-7:00pm, approximately 20 hours per week
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have a good driving record
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR
