Duties & Responsibilities

  • Train all staff on the philosophy of Person-Centered Planning and oversee implementation.
  • Attend and participate in all mandatory trainings and on-going in-service trainings.
  • Cook up and manage the residence and remain within budgetary guidelines.
  • Aid individuals with their Adult Daily Living Skills (ADLS).
  • Develop and implement systems to ensure proper day-to-day operation of the home.
  • Be on call 24/7 when not on duty and use agency cell phone for this purpose.

Education & Experience

  • Associate degree or High School Diploma - Required.
  • Five (5) years of related work experience and three (3) years of related supervisory experience, required.
  • A valid, non-restricted and acceptable driver’s license is required.

Physical Requirements

  • Communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Depending on location, physical intervention is required.
  • Stair climbing is required (where applicable).
  • Use lifts provided for all lifting and be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds on occasion.
