Duties & Responsibilities
- Train all staff on the philosophy of Person-Centered Planning and oversee implementation.
- Attend and participate in all mandatory trainings and on-going in-service trainings.
- Cook up and manage the residence and remain within budgetary guidelines.
- Aid individuals with their Adult Daily Living Skills (ADLS).
- Develop and implement systems to ensure proper day-to-day operation of the home.
- Be on call 24/7 when not on duty and use agency cell phone for this purpose.
Education & Experience
- Associate degree or High School Diploma - Required.
- Five (5) years of related work experience and three (3) years of related supervisory experience, required.
- A valid, non-restricted and acceptable driver’s license is required.
Physical Requirements
- Communicate clearly and effectively.
- Depending on location, physical intervention is required.
- Stair climbing is required (where applicable).
- Use lifts provided for all lifting and be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds on occasion.
