About the role

The Residence Manager oversees the daily operation of the assigned residence, supervising Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), ensuring quality supports for individuals, managing the budget, and overseeing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, implement, and evaluate individual program plans and maintain records in compliance with OPWDD and state/federal regulations.
  • Hire, train, and supervise DSPs in completing job responsibilities.
  • Manage and evaluate residential staff, including conducting progress reviews and addressing disciplinary issues.
  • Implement and monitor policies, procedures, and programs of the facility and CFS in accordance with OPWDD regulations and guidelines.
  • Attend and participate in team meetings, including interdisciplinary, individual service plan, and clinical meetings.
  • Participate in agency standing committee meetings, training, and assigned activities.
  • Ensure timely submission of required paperwork, such as payroll, Res Hab, Incident Reports/Investigations, etc.
  • Monitor and review the physical plant to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Complete and ensure staff complete mandatory training, including SCIP, AMAP, CPR/First Aid, Corporate Compliance, Choking Prevention, etc.
  • Model and perform all aspects of Individualized Program Plans and ensure staff understand and implement each individual's plan using a Person-Centered approach.
  • Be available to address emergencies, incidents, safety hazards, and staffing issues.
  • Facilitate communication between the residence and day programs, related work sites, and other stakeholders.
  • Review and address Therap documents, including checklists, t-logs, and medical information.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with family members/advocates and address their concerns.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Services or a related field preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities.
  • At least 1 year of experience in program supervision.

Pay

$66,500.00 - $68,000.00 / Year

Schedule

Work schedule and location are subject to change based on the needs of the department.
