Residence Manager
About the role
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and experienced individual to oversee a residential program for adults diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Residence Manager will provide 24-hour oversight to the residential program, embrace a dual professional role including both administrative and clinical aspects, and interact regularly with residents, their families, day program staff, medical providers, and agency supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical, emotional, and medical care to individuals living in the program
- Oversee the physical plant of the home
- Administer and implement documentation and regulatory compliance
- Supervise an interdisciplinary team
- Interact regularly with residents, families, day program staff, medical providers, and agency supervisors
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- NY or NJ Driver’s license required
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Knowledge of intellectual and developmental disabilities and relevant regulations
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

$66,300 annually
