Permanent, full-time position (12 months per year). Some evening, weekend, and on-call responsibilities.
About the Department
The Department of Housing and Residence Life is comprised of a team of professionals committed to creating communities that enhance the academic, personal, and social development of residential students and to providing students with a variety of services and comfortable living environments that are clean, safe, and affordable. Approximately 6,100 students live in 15 residential communities.
About the Role
The Residence Education Coordinator is a 12-month, full-time professional staff member responsible for providing overall management and leadership in residential communities housing 300-750 residents.
Responsibilities
- Staff supervision and development
- Residential education and community development
- Student conduct management
- Facility and assignment management
- Hall council advising
- Crisis management
- Summer operations
- Other departmental and campus-wide responsibilities
Requirements
- Master’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in higher education, counseling, student personnel, or a related field
- Two years of housing experience at the graduate or professional level
- Demonstrated ability to blend academic and residential components of student life
- Experience in staff supervision and educational/social programming

Pay
$40,000 - $43,888 per year
Schedule
9:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday–Friday (with some evening, weekend, and on-call responsibilities).
