Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the reservations department.
- Manage room inventory, rates, and availability to maximize revenue.
- Provide personalized service to guests, assisting with inquiries and resolving issues.
- Train and supervise reservations staff, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Monitor reservation systems and ensure accurate and timely data entry.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize guest experiences and ensure smooth arrivals and departures.
- Analyze data and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement strategies to increase reservation conversions and upsell opportunities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a reservations management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in reservation systems and hotel property management systems.
- Knowledge of revenue management principles and techniques.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Leadership and team-building skills.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
