Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the reservations department.
  • Manage room inventory, rates, and availability to maximize revenue.
  • Provide personalized service to guests, assisting with inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Train and supervise reservations staff, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor reservation systems and ensure accurate and timely data entry.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize guest experiences and ensure smooth arrivals and departures.
  • Analyze data and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement strategies to increase reservation conversions and upsell opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a reservations management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in reservation systems and hotel property management systems.
  • Knowledge of revenue management principles and techniques.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Leadership and team-building skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
