About the role
The Vu Lab in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology is seeking a motivated Research Technician to join their team. The research focuses on the molecular basis of antifungal drug resistance mechanisms in Candida species. The successful candidate will conduct lab-bench experiments and animal research.
Responsibilities
- Conduct both lab-bench experiments and crucial animal research work
- Play a key role in advancing research projects
- Work with aseptic techniques
- Comfortable working with animal research
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a Biological Science, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, Sociology, or other health related field
- No experience required
- Accepts 48 months equivalent experience in lieu of the Bachelor's Degree
