Research Technician
Job Summary
A full-time Research Technician position is available at the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging, Massachusetts General Hospital, under the supervision of Dr. Anastasia Yendiki. The technician will join the investigative team of the Large-Scale Imaging of Neural Circuits (LINC) project, contributing to an unprecedented effort by the NIH BRAIN Initiative to produce first-ever maps of brain connections across scales.
Responsible for
- Performing laboratory experiments following established protocols and procedures.
- Preparing and handling samples, reagents, and solutions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments, conducting routine calibration and troubleshooting as needed.
- Recording experimental data accurately and maintaining organized records of procedures, protocols, and results.
- Compiling and analyzing data using appropriate statistical and analytical methods.
- Aiding in data interpretation and presentation, contributing to research findings and reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
- Experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable.
