Responsibilities
- Assistance in the planning and execution of experiments.
- Develop expertise in the use and maintenance of novel instruments that the lab obtains.
- Serve as a specialist on laboratory methods and equipment functions.
- Data analysis using Excel and other statistical software.
- Maintains technical and administrative support for a research project.
- Analyzes and maintains data and/or specimens.
- Counsults with literature reviews.
- Aids in the preparation of reports, manuscripts and other documents.
- Performs other related work as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.
- Knowledge and skills developed through < 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
- Previous research experience.
- Experience with various cellular and molecular biology techniques, e.g., cell culture, western blotting, PCR.
