Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two years of related lab work experience, to include animal handling.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- Experience with animal handling/experiments preferred.
Skills
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment, scientific apparatus, and computer equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Assists in conducting experiments and technical procedures.
- Performs laboratory research activities.
- Aids undergraduate and graduate students with their research projects.
- Assists with animal care, genotype, and surgery procedures.
- Collects and prepares samples.
- Analyzes images and prepares histological cuts.
- Makes and records observations and measurements.
- Maintains animal reports and data files.
- Operates and maintains laboratory equipment.
- Maintains laboratories according to OSHA specifications.
- Supports logistical needs in the laboratory.
- Cleans up the laboratory daily.
Pay
Proposed Salary: $20.00 hourly.
Schedule
Work Schedule/Location: Located in Dallas, TX, this is an on-site role with a typical schedule of Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm.
