Job Summary
Captures data for biomedical & social-behavioral research studies of limited complexity. Assists PI in validating test data.
Technical
- Participates in research study planning & execution
- Recruits & retains participants
- Administers tests & questionnaires
- Collects, compiles, tabulates & processes responses
- Gathers & extracts information from medical charts
- Completes basic clinical procedures
- Administers research data
- Collates mathematical results & prepares reports
- Writes portions of grant applications & co-authors papers
- Completes documents related to regulatory guidelines
Finance
- Processes payments for research participants
- Negotiates grant funding with industry representatives
- Coordinates reimbursements for travel, consultant pay, gift cards, etc.
- Ensures costs remain within grant budget
Supervision
- Provides work direction &/or trains junior coordinators
- Mentors junior researchers in education
Minimum Qualifications
- Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in a social or health science-related field
- OR appropriate combination of education and 2 years' research study or relevant experience
- OR successful completion of a master's or higher degree in a social or health science-related field
- OR appropriate combination of education and experience
