Research Program Supervisor
About the role
The Research Program Supervisor oversees day-to-day management and execution of multiple complex research projects, tracks project progress, assesses project needs, assigns tasks, and evaluates team performance. They assist with IRB submissions, screening, recruitment, enrollment, and assessments of study participants. They conduct research assessments on study participants, data collection, ensure protocols are followed correctly. They also train technical staff, research assistants, and graduate student researchers, document compliance with IRBs, federal, and state regulations, construct data collection instruments, compile reports, and present data findings as directed. They facilitate budgetary and purchasing decisions and manage databases.
Responsibilities
- Trains technical staff, research assistants, and graduate student researchers.
- Documents and assures compliance with IRBs requirements, federal and state regulations, funding agencies and sponsors that support ongoing research activities.
- Conducts research assessments on study participants, data collection, ensures protocols are followed correctly.
- Facilitates budgetary and purchasing decisions.
- Screens, recruits, enrolls, and assesses study participants.
Requirements
- Minimum Education Level Required: Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum Years of Experience Required: 3 years.
- Essential Functions include but are not limited to: training staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, conducting research assessments, facilitating budgetary decisions, and managing participant recruitment and enrollment.
