Research Manager- MCG Cellular Biology and Anatomy

About the role

The role is responsible for providing academic advising services to students.

• Assist students in developing educational plans that align with their career goals.
• Provide guidance on course selection, degree requirements, and transfer credit evaluation.
• Conduct initial and follow-up meetings to monitor student progress and address concerns.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of the advising center, including scheduling appointments and managing student records.

• Oversee the implementation of new advising policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with faculty and other departments to ensure accurate and timely information for students.
• Develop and maintain effective communication channels with students, faculty, and staff.

Requirements

Must have a Master’s degree in Higher Education, Counseling, or a related field.

• Experience in higher education advising is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of student information systems and databases.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Skills

Pay

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year.

Schedule
