About the role

The Department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota is seeking a highly qualified postdoctoral Research Fellow for the CT Clinical Innovation Center. Using state-of-the-art clinical and pre-clinical CT systems, our highly productive team investigates a wide range of CT-related topics, with a focus on developing novel, high-impact CT technologies and translating them into clinical practice, such as photon counting detector (PCD) CT and artificial intelligence (AI).

Responsibilities

The Research Fellow would conduct research on cardiovascular PCD CT imaging for diagnosis and risk prediction, focusing on the use of AI to improve temporal resolution, decrease image noise, perform multi-energy analysis, and conduct multi-modal deep learning. The Research Fellow would have the opportunity to collaborate with radiologists, medical physicists, and AI scientists. Additionally, the Research Fellow will have opportunities to explore various aspects of clinical medical physics, potentially including shadowing experiences.

Qualifications

Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a field deemed relevant by the program.

Pay

$71,992- $84,220 / year; Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
