Responsibilities

• Screen and enroll patients in randomized clinical trials per study protocol and complete study follow‑up visits in clinic settings daily.
• Process and ship research samples in the lab.
• Under supervision, assist with human subjects research activities, including participant recruitment, informed consent, data collection through surveys, interviews, and observations, and ensure activities follow study protocols.
• Organize, clean, and maintain databases to ensure accurate data entry and preparation for analysis under close supervision.
• Maintain confidential records of collected data, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity of data (human subject and departmental programmatic data).
• Support Data Management Sharing (DMS) plan.
• Prepare annual progress reports and applications for various committees; ensure staff receive proper training.
• Assist in preparing progress and annual reports and grant proposals for funding agencies; work with the Office of Sponsored Projects on grant submissions.
• May assist with regulatory submissions (e.g., Institutional Review Board(s), FDA).
• Assist the investigator with quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including creation of figures, tables, and graphs.
