Program Coordinator (OBGYN - Pregnancy and Perinatal Research Center)
Job Profile Title
The Coordinator, Program will support Penn’s Achieving Maternal Empowerment and Transforming Health through Implementation Science and Training (AMETHIST@Penn) Hub. The AMETHIST@Penn Hub will provide consultation and technical assistance to Maternal Health Research Centers of Excellence and other IMPROVE investigators.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication between researchers, collaborators, and administrative staff.
- Prepare regular project updates and reports for management and stakeholders.
- Provide administrative assistance, such as tracking expenses, and managing procurement processes related to program/core specifics.
- Maintain accurate records of project-related activities and documentation.
- Organize and coordinate workshops, seminars, conferences, and other program-related events.
- Manage logistics for program cores, including timelines, resources, and milestones.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to project goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 2-3 years of related experience in research and/or administrative roles in healthcare or research, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Well-organized and able to flexibly manage diverse responsibilities, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with computers/technology, especially basic programs such as MS Word, Excel, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
