Research Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Assist in proposal and budget development, and contract and grant submissions
• Coordinate statement of work, budget, and proposal reviews and approvals; upload documents in proposal submission platforms
• Guide faculty through the proposal process
• Work with researchers to build accurate and compliant budgets
• Ensure submissions meet institutional and sponsor requirements
• Offer assistance and guidance on using submission platforms and research management systems
• Schedule submission planning team project meetings
• Serve as the primary information and problem‑solving resource for faculty and staff
• Share research news with leadership and marketing
• Serve primarily the College of Education and the Colleges of Science and Engineering, while also supporting PIs from other colleges as needed
