About the role
We are seeking a client-focused and passionate Research Consultant to join our team. This role involves assisting all stages of the market research project cycle, including designing and developing questionnaires and discussion guides, overseeing data collection, identifying and writing up analytical findings, visualizing and reporting quantitative and qualitative findings, and report writing. You will also work closely with team members across the organization and help proactively nurture and develop strategic client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Assists all stages of the market research project cycle
- Designs and develops questionnaires and discussion guides
- Oversees data collection and ensures strict quality control
- Identifies and writes up analytical findings
- Visualizes and reports quantitative and qualitative findings
- Takes deliverables to the next level
- Works with marketing research software packages
- Helps proactively nurture and develop strategic client relationships
- Works closely and effectively with team members across the organization
- Brings an exceptional drive and entrepreneurial mindset, while also being highly organized and detail-oriented
- Works as an enduring, positive, and collaborative team member
Requirements
- University or College degree in a relevant discipline
- 2+ years of relevant hands-on work experience, preferably with a supplier side organization
- Hands-on research exposure, including questionnaire design, sample frame development, field management, analysis planning, data visualization, and creative report writing
- Incredible attention to detail and highly organized, with an ability to manage multiple projects at once and consistently shift priorities and timelines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills – someone who is unafraid of asking questions or for help when they face roadblocks
- An innate ability to find the story in the numbers, and to sift through qualitative & qualitative data to extract meaningful nuggets and insights
- Creative data visualization and reporting skills – someone who develops reports that always impress colleagues and clients
- Nice to have: Exposure to sophisticated market research practices including a wide variety of quantitative and qualitative market research methods; Experience working in retail and media

Pay
The salary range for this role is USD $65,000 to $85,000, with final compensation based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
