This position is with the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), GSL.
About the role
This position is being filled as a Research Civil Engineer DB-02/04 (GS-5-14).
Responsibilities
- Conducts research on civil engineering topics relevant to the mission of ERDC.
- Develops and implements new civil engineering technologies and methodologies.
- Collaborates with other engineers and scientists to solve complex civil engineering problems.
- Writes technical reports and presents findings at conferences and meetings.
- May perform related duties as required.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Experience in civil engineering research and development.
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Qualifications
- Passing score on the ASVAB test.
- Eligibility for a security clearance.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with data analysis software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay
The starting salary range for this position is $40,736.00 - $97,087.00 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
