Research Assistant/Technician

About the role

The Entry-Level Research Assistant will be the primary contact individual for our volunteer cohort on our NIH funded clinical trial on long COVID patients. This person will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating all human studies, compliance to the interventions, questionnaire completion via red cap, data tracking in Fitabase, and for all processes associated with the IRB. In addition, the candidate may assist with data collection and analysis. Tasks will include sample acquisition, logging, and preparation, data collection, analysis, and storage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and facilitating all human studies
• Ensuring compliance to the interventions
• Managing questionnaire completion via REDCap
• Tracking data in Fitabase
• Handling all IRB-related processes
• Assisting with data collection and analysis
• Sample acquisition, logging, and preparation
• Data collection, analysis, and storage

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA)
• Will consider a combination of education and work experience
• Compliance: No credit check required
• Compliance: No motor vehicle licensing validity check required
• Compliance: No pre‑employment physical request and assessment required
• Compliance: No drug screen required

Pay

$18.26 - $21.63 per hour (Hourly, Non‑Exempt)

Schedule

Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; Full‑time (1.0 FTE); 12‑month appointment; No remote/telecommuting option.
