Job Description

The director of clinical research will oversee all of the clinical research done in the hematology division.

Responsibilities

• Supervising the clinical research associates and assigning them to studies.
• Working with JCRI on division of labor for clinical trials.
• Working with faculty to decide which/how many pharmaceutical trials the Division will agree to participate in.
• Developing a formal process for students who want to do research in the division.
• Assisting with finding suitable projects.
• Running a weekly summer lunch and learn for summer students/volunteers.
• Providing mentorship to students.
• Providing mentorship to junior faculty and fellows on clinical research.
• Providing feedback on grant applications.
• Assisting with fellow research projects along with division faculty.
