Responsibilities
- Cook up laboratory experiments to support research projects
- Collaborate with lab members to advance ongoing research initiatives
- Perform molecular and cellular biology techniques including DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, Western blotting, molecular cloning, gel electrophoresis, cell culture, and transfection
- Dissociate human tissue samples and prepare samples for next-generation sequencing-compatible experiments
- Utilize imaging techniques and flow cytometry in experimental analysis
- Conduct routine and advanced cell culture procedures
Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Basic Science
- Experience: One year of scientific or experimental research work experience, or no experience required with a preferred Master's Degree in Basic Science and a Medical Degree
