Research Assistant II

About the role

The Research Assistant will support the department's research mission by assisting with the coordination and execution of research activities, data collection and analysis, regulatory compliance, and project administration. This position works collaboratively with faculty, clinical staff, students, and external partners to facilitate high-quality research initiatives and ensure timely completion of research objectives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the coordination and execution of research activities
• Data collection and analysis
• Maintain accurate research records
• Prepare reports and presentations
• Support ongoing program development in alignment with institutional and sponsor requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a Biological Science, Chemistry, Physical Science, or related field
• 24 months research laboratory experience
• Will accept 48 months equivalent experience in lieu of the Bachelor's Degree, for a total of 72 months combined research assistant/technician experience

Pay Range: Targeted salary range of $38,700 - $45,000, depending on education and experience.
