About the role

We are hiring a Research Assistant I (Full-time) to join the UTHealth Houston McGovern Medical School Department of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology in Houston, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory experiments, including cell culture, sample preparation, molecular biology assays, and data collection, following established protocols.
• Maintain laboratory supplies and equipment.
• Accurately document experimental results.
• Assist with general laboratory operations and research projects.

Requirements

• Prior laboratory research experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.

Skills

• Knowledge of cell culture, molecular biology assay, and data collection.
