Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supports institutional decision-making by developing, analyzing, and delivering data and insights in alignment with enterprise data strategy, governance, and reporting standards.
  • Works closely with departments and data teams to ensure accurate, consistent, and actionable use of data.
  • Develops and delivers recurring and ad hoc reports to support both operational and strategic needs.
  • Ensures outputs are timely, relevant, and aligned with institutional priorities.
  • Sets up and maintains dashboards and reports that provide consistent, reliable access to key metrics.
  • Communicates findings clearly to stakeholders at varying levels, supporting informed decision-making across the institution.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree AND One (1) year of professional experience with data collection, analysis, reporting, and database use.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders to understand information needs that support evidence-based decision making.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with large datasets and multiple information sources.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills with the ability to demonstrate statistical knowledge.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, presentations, or other data-informed decision-support resources.
  • Ability to synthesize findings and communicate results clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  • Able to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality while managing sensitive information.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and meaningful insights from complex datasets.
  • Knowledge of research design, survey development, data collection methods, and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Able to learn new analytical tools, technologies, and methodologies as organizational needs evolve.
  • Experience using PowerBI, SQL, Python, SAS Enterprise Guide, and/or SAS Viya is a plus.
