Rescue Intake Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor local shelters and community inquiries for potential rescue candidates
• Evaluate animals based on SVPP intake criteria, including health, behavior, and adoptability
• Collaborate with the SVPP team to prioritize and coordinate intake decisions
• Help ensure a diverse mix of breeds, ages, and needs across both dogs and cats

• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment
• Ability to assess adoptability and placement potential
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for animal welfare and rescue
