Position Overview
Provide support to The United States Coast Guard (USCG), CG-AIR’s (to include the Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), Aviation Projects Acquisition Center (APAC), and Office of Aeronautical Engineering (CG-AIR-E))
Essential Job Functions
- Independently manage analysis, development, and implementation of requirements for various CG-AIR divisions
- Collaborate with CG-AIR personnel and other commands to identify requirements
- Conduct market research and plan projects
- Prepare requisition packages including SOW, Performance Work Statements, and other acquisition documents
- Confirm requisition packages comply with regulations, policies, and audit requirements
- Track action items; update customers on project status; manage acquisition information
- Review deliverables for technical accuracy
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously; create schedules and develop plans and milestones
- Draft correspondence, reports, white papers, meeting minutes, spreadsheets, and briefs
- Develop methods, plans, and documents to streamline procedures, reduce costs, and support long-term planning
Minimum Qualifications
- A U.S. Citizen
- Read, write, speak, and comprehend English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines
- Ability to work with minimal Government oversight
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Logistics, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or related field; OR
- High school diploma with at least 3 years' experience in Procurement, Logistics, Program Management, Supply Chain Management, Legal, or related field
Desired Qualifications
- Intermediate experience with ALMIS
- Intermediate experience with AMMIS
- 1 year experience in USCG procedures
- Proficiency in ALMIS
- Proficiency in AMMIS
