Logistician III
About the role
The Logistician III provides comprehensive logistics support for the Product Manager Biometrics (PM BIO), under Project Manager Terrestrial Sensors (PM TS), Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE), Layered Protection and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN).
Responsibilities
- Oversees system procurement, fielding, and sustainment activities.
- Manage logistics and support for personnel deployed to OCONUS locations.
- Coincides with Army units for fielding, training, and troubleshooting.
- Manages system upgrades and tech refreshes.
- Conducts training on the use and operation of BCC systems.
- Develops and updates user guides, lesson plans, course curriculum, and other training material as applicable.
- Ensures open communication between all stakeholders, including military personnel, government civilians, and contractors, to foster positive working relationships and ensure product satisfaction.
Requirements
- Required Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline
- Seven (7) years of relevant experience
- Experience working with biometric technologies and identity management systems.
- Experience working on DoW or other U.S. government contracts, with a strong understanding of Army acquisition and sustainment processes.
- Experience with the Army's Total Package Fielding (TPF) process, including New Equipment Fielding (NEF), New Equipment Training (NET), Platform Integration (PI), and Technical Field Support.
