Requirements Analyst, IT

About the role

As an IT requirements analyst, you’ll develop leading-edge applications and systems. Partnering with your team of architects, developers, and testers, you’ll identify clients’ mission needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. You’ll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and you’ll be a key team member who helps fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. Together, you’ll deliver high business value products to mission users. Work with us to make an impact by supporting national security.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and management
• Experience working with stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements and translate them for technical teams
• Experience using task management software such as Jira
• Experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban
• Experience in software development, DevOps, AI/ML, or IT
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree

Nice to have

• Experience with Human Resources (HR) IT systems
• Experience with HR business processes
• Experience creating Jira dashboards, roadmaps, and dependency maps
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Scrum Master or Agile Certification

Pay

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD).
