About the role

Provide support in store floor operational activities by following operational processes related to sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service established by AutoZone, collaborating to achieve the operational and commercial indicators of the assigned store.

Responsibilities

• Arrange merchandise on the sales floor, excess product, and truck deliveries according to established guidelines.
• Execute correct planograms.
• Scan merchandise to comply with inventory counts.
• Perform proper "facing" and labeling to classify merchandise.
• Participate in store opening and closing tasks, as well as cleaning activities on the sales floor to ensure proper product arrangement and store presentation.
• Assist customers by clarifying doubts regarding product location, specific product information, function, and price to provide excellent service reflected in counter sales closures.
• Handle customer calls to address questions about specific products or orders.
• Correctly execute cash register transactions, including cash or card payments and processing returns, following the cash handling policy to ensure effective sales closure and transaction processing.

Requirements

• High school diploma completed.
• Previous experience as a warehouse worker, cashier, or general assistant.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is desirable.
