About the role

A successful Reporting QC Specialist II independently completes stack testing calculations while ensuring data quality and compliance with established standards. The compensation range for this role is $24.00 to $30.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Write and assemble documents such as test protocols or test reports using templates, following style guides and SOPs
  • Cite tolerances (e.g., 3A, 7E, 10, RA%) using reference methods and applicable standards
  • Perform “from scratch reporting” of stack testing programs, demonstrating knowledge of regional tests and regulations
  • Prepare ERT without an ERT test plan or reference document
  • Calculate test results using spreadsheets and handwritten forms
  • Perform various clerical work where needed
  • Identify and investigate anomalies in data (e.g., inconsistent or suspect results, outlying run results, suspect handwritten data) and escalate to other specialists or managers when necessary
  • Resolve most anomalies independently; extrapolate from previous experiences when encountering new tests or methods

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Bachelor's degree in science/engineering or related field preferred; High School diploma acceptable with demonstrated writing, math, or other relevant skills
  • 3+ years of technical writing experience
  • 3+ years of experience with air test methods, permits, and regulatory requirements
  • Field testing experience is beneficial
  • Intermediate user of cloud-based platforms (e.g., Google Workspace), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & Word), and PDF editing software
  • Capability to pass background checks and initial and random drug screening
