A Day in the Life
As a Reporting QC Specialist, you’ll be responsible for accurately calculating and validating stack testing results using spreadsheets and handwritten field records.
Responsibilities
- Compiles, analyzes, and reports field data collected from test projects under the supervision of Reporting QC Specialists and Managers
- Works with Project Managers, Field Technicians and other reporting staff to ensure data quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of test reports and other documents
- Writes and assembles documents such as test protocols or test reports using templates, following style guides and SOPs
- Performs review of draft documents for details like grammar and spelling
- Communicates regularly with field and reporting staff to ensure test reports are completed in a timely manner
- Understands roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and third-party accreditation standards
- Performs various clerical work where needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in science/engineering or related field preferred
- High School diploma is acceptable where writing/math/other skills can be demonstrated
- Technical writing experience beneficial
- Familiarity with EPA test methods, permits, and regulatory requirements beneficial
- Field testing experience is beneficial
- Intermediate user of cloud-based Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel & Word), and PDF editing software
- Capability to pass background checks and initial and random drug screening

Pay
The compensation range for this role is $20.00 to $25.00 per hour.
