About the role
The Reporting Analyst position supports processes within Lument, a company that provides comprehensive capital solutions for multifamily, affordable, seniors and health care real estate. This role involves assisting with data collection, reconciliation, and maintenance of KPIs, developing and executing database queries, and creating visualizations and reports.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the collection and reconciliation of data from various departments and maintain metrics and KPIs relating to Loan Originations, Underwriting, and other business areas.
- Design, architect, implement, and support Microsoft Power BI & SSRS solutions.
- Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.
- Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Assist in data collection and reporting for rating agencies.
- Assist in assessments of business units and functions for accuracy and compliance.
- Participate in special projects as directed by the Team Lead or Director.
- Provide regular status updates to the manager regarding outstanding items and deadlines.
- Develop and update technical documentation.
Qualifications
- An Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or Information Systems.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- 1-3 years' experience with BI technologies (Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI, Tableau).
- 1-3 years' experience with SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Familiarity with BI technologies (Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI).
- Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Focus and attention to detail.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
- Ability to work well under pressure, adjust to varied workloads, multitask, and handle sensitive/confidential information.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
