Replenishment Lead, N Little Rock, ARK (Onsite)

About the role

The role sits in the Replenishment Buying organization and is stationed at the Market level. It involves supporting operations for Replenishment activities within a market, owning logistics, sales, and costing coordination for product orders. The incumbent acts as the face of Replenishment in the market and works with the VP Sales and VP Operations to ensure immediate needs for a product are met.

Responsibilities

• Daily replenishment duties and KPI monitoring: Work with Area Buyers and Replenishment Assistants to ensure key Replenishment functions are being fulfilled
• Maintains continuity of product supply and meets key performance service indicators (KPI)
• Constant communication and collaboration with the Replenishment Service Center (RSC) on demand changes and special projects
• Monitors the quality of inbound products and executes replenishment functions according with US Foods policies and procedures
• Provides subject matter expertise on the supply chain systems, replenishment policies and procedures
• Manages Replenishment Assistants who support Replenishment operations in the market

Requirements

• 5 years of purchasing work experience required; proven experience of influencing people / management
• Extensive food service knowledge and supply chain experience
• Proficient with various Desktop software (e.g., Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally and draw linkages to business
• High attention to detail, strong customer orientation, and fact-based decision making

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or supply chain management, or equivalent food service industry work experience required

Skills

• Food service purchasing and management experience
• Possess a high degree of diplomacy, tact, tenacity and persistence to deal effectively with other stakeholders
• Proficiency in data analysis & visualization tools (i.e., Excel, Sigma, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)

Pay

This role is onsite 5 days a week (Monday - Friday) at the N Little Rock, Ark US Foods location.
