Repair Technician
Job Summary
Please Note: This is a long-term contract opportunity.
What You Will Do
- Accurately review customer work orders and carefully assess user-reported computer issues to identify and resolve problems
- Test and evaluate customer device needs to determine appropriate repairs
- Perform electronic device repairs, including hardware and software troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot customer hardware or software issues while ensuring proper procedures are followed
- Set up, repair, or replace computer hardware and associated devices as needed
- Follow all QC standards, ensuring each device is reviewed per customer request and meets required quality checks
- Maintain flexibility with internal movement across K–12 teams to support training on multiple device types and stay current with OEM requirements
- Meet established production goals while consistently upholding QC standards
What We Expect of You
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience as a computer technician or in a similar IT role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a production-focused environment
- Demonstrated ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand, bend, lift, walk and carry products in any combination for up to 8 hours at a time
- History of balancing competing priorities with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines
- Comfort working in a warehouse environment which includes changes in temperature as the weather fluctuates, noise from conveyors and forklifts
Pay and Benefits
Pay range: $15/HR – $19/HR depending on experience and skill set.
