Responsibilities

• Utilize industry-leading technology to complete vehicle glass repairs.
• Champion the Safelite Spirit with a can-do attitude, caring heart, and service mindset.
• Complete jobs with the highest quality standard, aiming to bring unexpected happiness to customers.
• Learn to repair vehicle glass in a classroom and hands-on setting under the guidance of experienced technicians and leaders.
• Manage work orders, customer documentation, and communication using Safelite Mobile Resource Management (MRM) technology.
• Promote and sell Safelite promotional items to customers.
• Clean customer vehicles during wait/idle time and perform additional housekeeping tasks in company vehicles and shop.
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles, company-issued tools, and chemicals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and any other required licenses.
• Completion of Safelite SafeTech™ certification.

Skills and Abilities

• Lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. for short periods, assisting with heavier loads.
• Standing for extended periods, working in tight spaces, bending, twisting, and operating various hand and power tools.
• Operating a motor vehicle safely and effectively according to all laws.
• Maintaining professionalism and providing excellent customer service.
• Working with chemicals as part of the Safelite Way of Fitting.
• Adhering to company policies and procedures.
