Responsibilities

• Learn to repair vehicle glass with the Safelite Way of Fitting under the guidance of experienced technicians and leaders.
• Complete vehicle glass repairs including chips, cracks, and other auto glass issues.
• Manage work orders, customer documentation, and communication using the Safelite MRM technology.
• Promote and sell Safelite promotional items to customers.
• Clean customer vehicles during wait/idle time and perform additional housekeeping tasks.
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles, tools, and chemicals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and any required licenses to operate company vehicles.
• Completion of Safelite SafeTech™ certification.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Skills and Abilities

• Lift and carry up to 25 lbs. for short periods.
• Stand for extended periods, work in tight spaces, bend and twist body.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Operate a motor vehicle in accordance with all laws and regulations.
• Maintain professionalism and provide outstanding customer service.
• Work with chemicals as applicable.
• Work scheduled days with flexibility on start and end times.
• Communicate verbally and in writing.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Problem-solve and troubleshoot issues independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to maintain stable performance under pressure.

Benefits

This position offers a competitive weekly base pay starting at $19.75/hour, a benefits package valued at more than $10k, including a 401(k) plan with company matching, medical coverage, and paid time off programs.
